I've been having problems lately with my GS. I have an Applied Engineering
HD
drive, which worked fine with my ROM 01 GS. However, when I had to replace
my GS after my ramcard slot fried, the new GS refuses to acknowledge it's
presence in the system. The new GS is also a ROM 01. The drive port is not
malfunctioning, as I have hooked my old 5.25" external drive to it and it
works fine.
Please help. I really need the system to acknowledge the drive, as my new
hard drive has not yet arrived, and flipping 140k disks is getting to be a
