With a TrueType font, you just copy the file and use it with pointless. For
bitmap fonts (the original kind), it is more involved. I believe that you
must copy the file from the Mac FONT resource, and then reverse the byte
orders in all of the integers in the font header. I've seen quite a few
programs which will do this, however. One was a Shareware font program
called "Fontasm". I'm sure that there are others, too.

Macs don't have "FST"s exactly. I believe it comes from some kind of wacky
INIT that also lets them read IBM disks. IBM-compat. disks placed in a Mac
have an icon with "PC" or "DOS" or something over them, too. It's just
supposed to make it easier to differentiate.
