I've now owned an Apple IIe for over 10 years and for a good number
of those years I kept close track of what was going on with the II
line. Then, like a lot of people, other things came up and it became
more difficult to keep up with all the changes.
At the time I purchased my IIe, ProDos was just coming on the scene. This
was in 1984. And when the IIgs came out I understood that Prodos 16 was
the operating system for that particular Apple II. Now, I'm hearing
a lot about GS/OS. Can anyone out there explain to me the difference
between ProDos 16 and GS/OS? I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
