Yes. Read the comp.sys.apple2 FAQ from
ftp://rtfm.mit.edu/pub/usenet-by-group/comp.sys.apple2/. It explains
how to translate files from the Apple // to the Mac.

The easiest way is to copy all the Apple // files to a 3.5"
ProDOS-formatted disk, and use the Apple File Exchange (AFE) or the PC
Exchange to transfer/translate the files to the Mac. If you have
MacLink Plus installed on the Mac, it will even convert AppleWorks files
for you.

I've never heard of Letter Perfect before, but you'll probably have to
save the files as plain ASCII text before converting them.
