Back in the late 70's, I worked with ITT, who were making their
ITT 2020 computer, intended for PAL colour. The clocks rates used,
and the way hi-res graphics (especially) was made up meant that
we had a special version just for PAL (We were in the U.K. then).

I seem to remember that you could get a 'pal card' but can't
remember too much right now... Hmmm... I'll have to think about
this one.

I still have a ITT 2020, but the thing doesn't reliably boot up
from the floppy disk drive. I once made a dual-system master boot
disk that would come up with whichever language you *didn't* have
in ROM (if you didn't have the language card), but even that
won't boot the machine.

Somewhere I have complete schematic diagrams of the APPLE / ITT 2020
for the PAL version as well. I also got some 150 disks with stuff on
them like assemblers, editors, etc etc. but heck knows if theyr'e
still readable.

Let me have a nosey 'round in my workshop this evening or so, and
I'll see what info I can retrieve: I don't think the answer is going
to be an easy one, however. You *can* of course connect it up if you
only want monochrome and your T.V. can take the different rates...

If you don't hear from me in a week or so then e-mail me to
remind me (I have lots on at the moment).
