Ummmmm... been around for awhile, but can't swear I know anything.  That 
probably counts.  I've got a IIgs and have used ProComm to do VT-100 emulation 
to connect to the St. Louis library and one of our computer vendor's software 
support lines.  Seems to work just fine.  Don't know for sure what you mean 
about some packages not supporting the arrow keys.  When I'm on with ProComm, 
they seem to work OK.
