Will this blow my processor?
I found a 48mhz crystal oscillator on a _crushed_ IDE tape drive last
night. Today, on a whim, I desoldered it and stuck it on my Zip; it's
processor is rated at 10mhz. Now it's running (apparently) fine at
12mhz. In the long term, will this kill my processor? I ran a 7mhz chip
at 9mhz for years, but I just thought I'd better check just in case.
What's the limit I should run my 10mhz chip at, anyway?
