SlipKnot for GNO?

Apologies if this has been posted about before, and I missed it.

I'm ashamed to admit that I found out about this in Newsweek, but I hear
there's a shareware program out there called "SlipKnot" that allows one
to browse the Internet a la Mosaic even without a SLIP/PPP connection
available.  Could this program be recompiled under GNO to run on a GS?
(Assuming the source code is available, of course.)
