New Life On Vulcan?

Well, it appears my Vulcan is on it's last legs. Pretty disapointing as I
paid AE a $500US a four years ago to have it upgraded to 40MB from 20MB.
 
So, my question is can I replace the current drive with a higher capacity
drive and still use the Vulcan controller? If so, what drives are
compatible.
 
If this isn't possible, could I use a SCSI drive and hook it up to my
RamFAST on the inside ala Pegasus? What would I need (types of cables and
connectors) to accomplish this if this is possible?
