Apple II,MECC,and network problem

Hi Ive attempting to help out my local elementary (ok, My spelling *ucks)
school, as there is no local apple dealer (anymore). there running their
network off a LC520 which works alot better than the SE30 they used to use.
What the problem is, the instructor needs to access the main area where
the actual programs are run from, so that they can add some new programs
for the learning center. they are runnning MECC Management along with
Lets.Share programming. Apparentlly the last Time the 1 person that works
on the school district's computers locked this one folder and so now all
that comes up on the Apple IIe screen is that it is a Binary file, when in
fact it is a LARGE folder and you do have access to it from either the IIGS
finder, or the Macs finder, but you have to be in prodos 8 in MECC system
to add the new programs to the system so that the students can use them.
Answer # 1 can't be to call the guy who locked it as 1, he's a real
asshole, 2, he doesn't know his head from his rearend when it comes to
Apple's or Mac's, and 3, The guy really doesnt care and so make's it nearly
impossible to contact him. So enter stage left-----free slave labor Me.
If any of you know about the MECC system and Lets.Share Please E-mail me
ASAP. The students and faculty will be happy with any comments or help we
can get.
