I only found both ads in the same magazine in one case:

Nibble, September 1988.  The Claris ad is on pages 8-9, and the Beagle
Bros ad on pages 12-13.

In A+ (before Incider took it over), I found the Claris ad in the
June, July and August 1988 issues.  The Beagle Bros ad was in
September and October 1988.

I don't have any Incider issues before the merger, and I didn't look
too hard in Nibble.
