There was a program called Jeeves that had a mini-clock and
screen blanker (or something like that)that relied on clock
interrupts to work.  A friend has/had it, I'll check, but someone
else on here may remember the program and have something
good to say.  I also think PinPoint worked in the background
ona  lot of IIe programs like BASIC.SYSTEM and AppleWorks and
other programs.
