M0131 drive on a //gs?

Is the older mac-style 3.5 drive (sans eject button) compatible with
the //gs at all?  I ask because I found one sitting on a shelf at a
local goodwill for $5, and I figured that would be really convenient
if that just worked.  It was sitting on a //e that had a 3.5
controller card in it (it probably came along with that at some point,
but was marked for sale separately)

Also of interesting note were a 65c02 enhanced //e (not platinum) and
two //gs units, both with ram expander cards in them.  All priced $25
or less each.  Almost bought one (probably should have gotten a //gs
for the ram expander card as mine lacks one), but aside from that my
existing collection would be confused and jealous to be joined by
newcomers.  ;-)
