As for upgrading Platinum Paint or Appleworks GS...

I don't think QC will update any of their software except for AW5 and,
althought somewhat unbelieveable, AWGS 2.0.  What I've heard is that QC
WILL NOT(.) upgrade or distribute anything software-based that is Apple II
specific.  I received their Platinum Paint 2.01 update, and that darn text on
the lower half of the document bug (oh no!) where the text will not appear is
still there... and that is the only real reason that I WANTED THE UPGRADE!

(no notice of any fixes except for the 2.01 in the about box that appears when
you load the program)

Who knows, maybe they'll give Platinum Paint to Seven Hills or Sequential and
let them do some work on it -- that would be nice :)

Oh well, that's my 2c. :)
