Apple File Exchange will also translate the file from AppleWorks to
Microsoft Works regardless of whether or not you have MS Works, and MS
Word can read Works files fine. All you need is the Claris Translator
for AppleWorks and any product that uses the Claris XTND system to read
in the AppleWorks file. There are also Claris XTND Translators for
AppleWorks GS and additional Symantec translators for the SpreadSheet and
DataBase AppleWorks files.
