..and you can try writing to the Postmaster in the same Zip Code
as for the person to whom you sent the money...if any part of your
transaction used the mails, then there are Feds who can get involved...
the Postmaster will direct you to the Postal Inspectyor who has
jurisdiction and youu proceed from there...postal fraud can be
treated quite seriously and persons who make a habit of it risk
serious money fines....
