Apple 2 History

I speak as an ex Apple 2 owner (I now use a 486DX) who has been reading
a very fascinating document from cco.caltech.edu:\pub\apple2\info

a file called a2history.shk 399872 bytes Mar 6 1993

In this document is the history of the Apple2 from the very beginning,
pretty much to the present (almost).

I never really followed the Apple2 all that much compared to most of
my friend who absorbed everything they could find! Well with this
wonderful file I can read and "get completely caught up" with all the
important facts that happened in the Apple community. I shouldn't
feel left out now when my Apple friends "speak Apple".

I would suggest all you IBM users out there (Oh yes! I know you are
reading this newsgroup regularlly enough) obtain the above file and
try to see things from a different perspective.

Thanks for an enjoyable way to catch up on what I've been missing.

Question: are there any other files out there like this ?

What are they and where do I find them ? Thanks!
