Will Nelken's "Ultra -- to the Max" is the best source of information on
UltraMacros 4 (AW5's version adds only a few commands). You can contact
him on GEnie as W.NELKEN1 or via internet as w.nelken1@genie.geis.com

Recording macros is very simple: press OA-X, choose a key that will
launch your macro (example: "z"), then go through the keystrokes that do
whatever you want to do (for example, press OA-Q, ESC and Return to get
to the Add Files first screen), then press OA-X again to end the macro
recording. Now press SA-Z (that's "Solid Apple" -- the same as the Option
key on the GS) and your keystrokes will be played back.

Unless you save your recorded macro as part of your default macro set (or
some other set) it will be lost when you quit AppleWorks, but that's a
more advanced lesson.

Have fun, but be very careful: UltraMacros is extremely powerful and
addicting.
