Disadvantages of ROM 3 with > 5mb RAM?

	I'm currently running my ROM 3 IIgs with 5.125mb of RAM, using
a Sequential Systems' RAM-GS card (1mb motherboard + 4mb card). From what
I know, this memory is all fully DMA compatible and I've not experienced
any problems so far. Recently however, I've come across a deal for a fully
populated 8mb CV-RAM (or the "RAM-GS Plus") and wondering what would happen
if I plugged this in my system? The CV-RAM comes with 4mb RAM soldered-in,
like the RAM-GS, but has room for an additional 4mb memory and is much more
compact. First off, I'd probably remove the 8th megabyte of RAM since the
GS cannot address 9megs -- I guess I could put this megabyte of 1X4 DRAMs
into my RamFast SCSI cache socket (these are compatible, right?). This now
leaves me 8 megabytes of memory total, but what disadvantages will occur?

	I know about the ROM 3 RamDisk (8mb) bug, so right off I'd have to 
use System 6.0.1 to access /RAM5. Though what I'm unclear on is DMA. Would 
having 8megs RAM force me to disable DMA on my RamFast SCSI card? Or only if 
something makes use of the 6th, 7th or 8th megabyte of RAM? Would creating
a 3mb RamDisk get rid of this DMA problem? All I know is my current memory
size won't cause anything strange to happen, but beyond that other factors 
start to come into play. :-/

One other thing, if I do buy an 8mb RAM card, anyone interested in giving
my RAM-GS 4mb card a home? :) I only bought it about 4 months ago...
