The first response was correct, you need to [P]rint your Appleworks word
processor file to a text file. Select PRINT, then TO A TEXT (ASCII) FILE
ON DISK. Specify the complete pathname of the destination file; i.e.
/JOHN/SERMONS.TXT Don't use the same name as the original file...tack a
'.TXT' onto the end, or preface the name with "T." or something like that
that you can recognize.
Your program should work; since you are using GET, you shouldn't be having
comma problems or anything like that.
