Hmmm, you're probably thinking of the GS+ (or whatever they were going to call
it). I don't think it had any major ROM changes, just a lot of built-in
stuff. If'n I recall right Paul Statt described it on AOL a few years back as
a ROM 03 GS with a built-in hard drive, super drive, and a faster CPU, maybe
more RAM. His point was you could put one together yourself if you really
wanted to. I would've been interested in seeing one as I'd be curious to see
what a built-in floppy would do to the slots. I'd prefer a built-in super
drive controller and leave the slots clear.
