Apple Printer Card

I have an Apple Parallel card without documentation. I need the DIP
switch settings. It is set up for an Apple DMP. It shows ID in paint,
"AII Parallel Interface # 670-0021 1981." Then etched into the
circuit board, "Apple Computer # 820-0047-B 1981." I find it terribly
slow, printing from AWorksGS and wonder if this is the best I can
expect from this card in a GSOS environment? It works great on Prodos
8 pgms. I am using a Panasonic KX-P1123 24 pin printer.
