This is the same strange thing I have noticed on my Dad's IIGs, with one 5.25 and a uni-disk. It only does it on the uni-disk. I have a GS at home with 2 3.5 and 1 5.25, and my son has a GS with the same, and I have never seen that happen with either of our systems. I thought maybe the uni-disk was malfunctioning. So it isn't, huh?
