Well I run a Metal/FV bbs and let me tell you that its great! We have funn
opps that should read full internet email going and we even have sites
outside the U.S networked to us! The cost for the sfotware is free and you
can DL via FTP or most Metal BBS. The sfotware package fully support
excelet zmodem (which some other BBS systems do not have fully working
version of zmodem for baud rates past 14.4k such as GBBS). I know I test tested
it out before with a friend and we cound not get it to do zmdeom UL at 16.8
 unless we had our GS running at 16Mhz which we did for like 30 min!
Anyhow Metal is constanly being updated and is being maintain by the good
crowed. Now with the latest one, you can even have your own private little
network with only the metal sites that you want and still have access to the
regular network. Most of the on-line games such as Global Wars and Naval Wars
etc have been programed as well in Metal. The editor does not have a 4k
limit like GBBS I am not sure how proline has its editort set up but we do
have a full screen editor for most major emulations such as PSE/ANSI/vt100
. Over all its really nice to have and you are only limited to the amount
of storage space that you have. Its rally worth it and best of all its FREE!
