Re: How to add TERMPWR to SCSI bus via HD case

1. Which pin of the DB-25 SCSI connector is the one that
supplies termination power to the bus?

It's pin 25. On the big connector (50-pin) it's pin 38.

2. What voltage line from the PS goes to it? It seem to me that
I remember it being the +5v. Right?

+5 Volts or so...

3. Should I put a fuse or diode or some other electronic gizmo
in between, or is just running a wire sufficient?

Both diode and fuse unless you're a thrill-seeker.

4. What else do I need to know? I'm not an electronics whiz,
but I know which end of a soldering iron not to touch. (I didn't even
need to learn it the hard way :)

Just make sure that you have the right terminators in place. Some
modern(!) drives have the new SCSI-2 terminators and they won't play with
some older drives/cards unless you change them back to SCSI-1.
