applicard, what is it?

i just bought a complete apple unenhanced apple //e system with 2 disk
]['s for the princely sum of $30.  when i took it home and looked inside,
it had a 80 column card, disk controller, super serial card, and another
full length card that says APPLI-CARD.  what is that one for? its got a
z80 cpu, two 20 pin headers, and one 10 pin header. im sure it could do a
lot, but im not sure. also, anyone have dip switch settings for the super
serial card?
