Hmmm, I thought the AWGS RAM card check told you which chip(s) was
bad. You might try the GS's self-test (control-option-apple-reset).
Another thing you might try is looking _carefully_ at the chips on
the board. A friend of mine bought a GS cheap in part because the
original owner claimed he had nothing but problems with the RAM card.
On inspecting it I found one if the pins on one of the chips had
snuck down between the sockets instead of into the socket where it
belonged. I just pulled the chip, straightened the pin, and properly
installed the chip. Voila! One fully functional GS!
