Well, others have answered about turning on the 'short timeout' option.
I've got a different problem... I have to always turn on my
GS twice before it will even boot. I have yet to swap back my old RamFAST
ROMs to verify this problem, but it definitely started happening regularly
around the time I got my new ROMs... It happened once in a very very rare
while that the system would appear 'hung' and doing a cold boot fixed it..
now, as I just said, it happens every time. One of the most bizarre problems
I've seen. Simply ^resetting puts the screen into 40 columns with half of
the copyright message on the screen and it still being hung.
Totally unrelated thing -- how do you get hit points back in Ultima?
I just got it last night and only played for a few minutes.. They didn't seem
to come back automatically (like natural healing), and in admittedly very quick
skimming of the manual, I saw no obvious 'healing' potion, nor anything of that
ilk available from any of the stores I saw.
