Oooops! Nope, it's more than that. The peek location just provides
a conenvient way of telling which version of the IIc you've got.
Later versions of the IIc had a memory expansion connector on the
motherboard that makes it a snap to add additional RAM, older IIc's
didn't have the connector and are a lot harder to add RAM to. My
original IIc is one of the early models, but I was able to pick up
a later model CPU fairly cheap at a flea market.
