You know about handshaking? Hardware usually RTS/CTS. Software is XON/
XOFF. Hardware is better. All that stuff? Make sure your terminal
programs are configured to use handshaking. Otherwise, 9600 is
probably the fastest you can go without problems. If you are using the
same cable with ADTPro, it obviously is wired for handshaking,
hopefully a standard type like RTS/CTS that can be used with your
terminal programs.
