I've been told by someone who knows a lot more than me, that the TWGS is the
most compliant, whereas the ZipGSX accomplished its acceleration with a lot
of voo-doo.
A few years ago, it was perceived that the Zip-GSX was the better choice for
power consumption and for chipping to run faster. Since ReactiveMicro, that's
not true anymore -- I've heard of Zip-GSX boards running as fast as 14MHz, but
TWGS are running around 18MHz. Obviously, active cooling is required and your
mileage may vary.
MHz aside, I'd say the amount of cache is going to be the deciding factor.
