If you tried to access the files with resource forks from ProDOS-8,
you would get an "unknown storage type" error.  You can't copy or
delete them, but you could probably rename or lock/unlock them.

If you tried to use a ProDOS-8 volume repair utility, it would destroy
any files that had resource forks.

Otherwise, it is perfectly safe to access the disk from ProDOS-8,
whether you are running on a IIe or IIgs.  The blocks used by the
resource forks are marked as "in use" in the volume bitmap, so
ProDOS-8 won't try to overwrite them.
