Agreed, but I'd rather have a text-based and fast VT-100 emulator than
a slow graphics-based one.  Having the option of either would be
really good.  (e.g. I'd like to use a graphics-based VT-100 emulator
when looking at WWW pages in Lynx.)

They work fine for me.  They send ESC [ A/B/C/D.  Some host
applications might expect ESC O A/B/C/D.

The function keys and numeric keypad don't work.

I lose a few characters at 19200 (maybe one every 50k), and I don't
even have an accelerator.  I also have AppleTalk enabled but idle.

It works fine for me.
