the v20 & v30 are NEC clones of the 8088 & 8086
intel processors with extended assembler instruction
sets substantially unique to these.
firmware written for these might be remarkably
spry on account of these instruction sets
designed to pick up speed in critical areas.
documentation of these instructions is
provided with the a86 shareware assembler which
evidently supports these.
