: Wow! You found a FutureSound? From what I read (long ago) they were supposed
: to be really good cards, but I never got a chance to play with one.

A friend bought such a card a long, long time ago (and then swapped it
with an Audio Animator). I borrowed it once.

Put briefly:
- the card is excellent. the sound is crisp and clear. I only noticed a
very high frequency signal, but maybe it has been caused by my own
low-end HiFi components.
- the software is a real pain. Unless youn have an acclerated computer,
you'll soon give up. The interface is a bit strange. However, you can
record multiple tracks and have all the standard functions found in
other sound software.

If you do not intend to use it digitizing mainly, get it! Compared to
AE's sound stuff, the FutureSound is state-of-the-art.
