Its probably coded into the program. If the accessing of the drives annoys
you, just set up a RAM disk - provided you've got some spare memory. (Nice
thing about that is that you can tell it to initiate "auto-protocol" with
Z-modem, and everything starts right away if you've set the "download"
path under "preferences" right.)
