I've just set up my IIGS, Mac, and ImageWriter II as a network on
AppleTalk. The Mac can print to it just fine, but when I go into the
NetPrinter control panel to configure it on the IIGS, I get the
message "Unable to find printer data files on the startup disk."
What the heck does that mean? I used the Installer to install the
AppleTalk ImageWriter stuff (System 6.0.1), and I already had the
AppleShare installed -- I've been using my Mac as a server via file
sharing for months.
Anybody know what this is and how to fix it? I REALLY need to get
this working.
