My that's a hard game on joysticks! A friend of mine broke my Suncom
flightstick-style joystick playing that same game. Unfortunately, I
never got it fixed. It was about 4 months old, with a 1 year warranty,
but the store wouldn't accept the return. They told me to send it back
to Suncom directly.

So I did, and the letter came back as undeliverable with no forwarding
address. (As did my MouseTalk registration bought from the same store
and mailed at the same time. Hmm, good thing I didn't buy anything else
from them.) So now it sits in a box of boxes, waiting for the day when
I might dig it out and try to fix it myself.

The only joystick I've had that's still going is my fabulous Wico! But
as my only use for it now is as a "sysop is in/out" switch on my BBS, I
guess I'm not in dire need of a new one. :-) I don't really get the
time to play games much anymore, and when I do, they're not usually of
the action variety. Maybe some day...
