Question: GScii+ NDA and HFS Partitions

Hi:

No, this is not an exericise in seeing how many acronymns
I can stuff in to a subject line!

I recently grabbed some binscii'd stuff off of c.s.a.binaries
and put them on a Mac HFS disk to SneakerNet home.
If I try to use the GSCii+ NDA to recreate the .SHK file
from the floppy and store it (the .SHK file) on my HFS hard
drive partition, GSHK 1.1 says that the archive is damaged.

On the other hand, if I copy the binscii files onto a ProDOS
partition, then extract to the HFS partition, it's OK.
Similarly (I'm pretty sure) I could go from the HFS floppy
and extract to ProDOS. It seems that only the HFS extract
to HFS wouldn't work.

Is this a known problem? Can anyone explain it? I'm 99% sure
I have the latest GScii version. Unfortunately, I didn't
jot it down when I was at home, and I can't recall it now.
But it hasn't been updated in ages, anyway, has it it?

Thanks for any insights...
