I forgot to mention that I was talking about ProTerm 3.1, and 3.0 has very good
serial handling as well, but not older versions (like 2.0, etc.)

And just in case I didn't answer the question thoroughly, YES! You CAN do 14.4k
just fine on your GS if it's unaccelerated :)

Also, Sequential Systems makes a serial board that will allow IIs and GSes to
go up to that 112(?)k VFast speed, called like the Turbo Serial Board.  Call
