IISound v4.0 engine out late November (crosses fingers) providing any apple II
with 5-bit 11kHz 2* digitised sound playback. Currently have driver working,
played some of "Carmina Burana" via it, and it sounds GREAT!
Only problem is, it hogs every available cpu cycle, so graphics will pause
while sound effects play :) I would be interested in hearing from apple IIe
programmers who would like to include the engine in their programs..
I plan to insert more info on IISound in my .plan file, so it will be available
by fingering misc176@csc.canterbury.ac.nz fairly soon.
