ProDos, HFS and ISO9660/High Sierra. But there are some problems
with 9660/HS on the IIgs that makes some discs unreadable.

Right, only IIgs executables will execute.
Partially right, both IIgs specific readable, other platform specific
readable where a IIgs "reader" exists (as several IIgs programs will
read MacPaint files), and world generic readable (as ascii text files
(ignoring the CR/LF issue)). Also some mac files store readable stuff
in the data fork, and unreadable stuff in the resource fork, so you
can "brute force" read some.

Sequential Systems markets the discQuest package that can read "other"
system's CDs that are in the "discPassage" format. Quality (and others)
probably carry it.

The big question is your scsi card and brand CD. Apple HS & CD-150:
no problem, built into system 601. Ramfast requires certain rom versions
and extra driver to play music. Ramfast may work with more brands.
