Can't you get hardware scrolling with VGA/SVGA too? I'm pretty sure
there's a VGA register that tells the address in video memory of the
top left pixel. Make use of that video RAM that's not on the screen :)

Anyways, the board sounds like a lot of fun... I'll probably get one :)
