Neuromancer Help Sheet
Well, here is the help sheet that I said I would put together. I spent a lot of time checking the
inputs that I received to ensure that they were correct, and most of them were.
I decided to break the help sheet into two different ones. The first one will just give the basic
info needed to get going in the game. The second info sheet will have very advanced information
that will allow more experienced users to "customize" the game settings (i.e. skill chips,
possessions, software, health, money).
Several people responded to my request for information for putting together these help sheets and I
reaaly appreciate the response. I decided to use information from the following people because it
was arranged neatly and was more correct or me detailed than some other information that I received.
Stephen Costaras, Sean Sullivan and Walter Hsueh all contributed hints and suggestions to make game
play more fun and a little less frustrating.
So here is the first of the two help sheets. It will contain basic information such as database
names and linkcodes and passwords.

Notes:
1. You can edit your bill and get room service in the second level.
2. Use the sequencer software to generate the password.
3. Has Comlink 6.0
4. If you upload Comlink 6.0 you will get 7500 credits.
5. You can edit the new employee list to put your name and BAMA ID# on it, then you will receive
weekly paychecks of 10000 credits.
6. The levels that are labeled <Cyberspace> can only be reached from cyberspace.
Miscellaneous Hints:
1. Do not give Shin any money for your UXB. Instead tell him that you don't have the money
and he will just give your deck for free.
2. If you go to Asano Computing and call Crazy Edo a pig, Asano will lower his prices.
3. If you buy the joystick from Finn at MetroHolographix and give it to the priest at the House of
Pong you will be given the Zen and Sophistry skill chips.
4. If you answer the PAX bulliten from Armitage then you will receive 10000 credits in you bank
account in a day or two. But, the next time that you walk in front of a lawbot you will
be arrested.
5. If you don't keep any money in your BAMA account, then you will not be fined when you go to the
Justice Booth.
6. Never pay the lawyer in the Justice Booth, it never does any good.
7. If you give Crazy Edo some caviar he will give you Comlink 2.0.
8. You can earn 3000 credits by going to Hitachi Biotech and telling them that you are a
volunteer for their lung experiment.
9. Finn at Metro Holographix is a good source for software at the beginning of the game.
10. Do not buy anything from Crazy Edo. His prices are the same as Asano Computing and none of
his decks are Cyberspace capable.
I am working on putting together another, more advanced, help sheet. It will have all of
the Cyberspace information on it as well as information about how to "customize" some of the
program variables.
Until then, have fun playing Neuromancer.
