Downloading Files
I have an Apple IIgs that I have been using for different things since I purchased it in
1988. One of the things that I haven`t yet purchased for it is a modem (I am writing this
on a UNIX machine). I was wondering if it is possible to download software on this
machine and then somehow port it over to run on my IIgs. I do not have a large library of
software, although I do have both Shrinkit and GS Shrinkit (I think that's the name) and I
know how to use both of them. I have never heard of BINSCII before I started reading
Comp.Sys.Apple2 about 3 weeks ago.
Also, if anyone out there has a good modem for sale with the necessary software I would
really appreciate hearing from you. I am also looking for an accelerator board for my
IIgs. I have an Apple RAM Expansion Card with 1 Meg of Ram that I would be willing to
trade for a working accelerator or would be willing to sell if anyone is interested.
Any help that anyone can give me in downloading files would be greatly appreciated.
