Can anyone help me?
I have a lot of stuff on my old Apple ][+ that I'd like to transfer over
to my IBM, but I've enquired about getting a serial port for the Apple,
and the only places around here want to charge an outrageous amount
for it, not to mention, I don't have any Apple communications software,
so...
I was wondering if there was any way to connect up a 1-way link
(Apple to IBM) through my existing printer port/card? The card is for
a SilentWriter ][ (thermal printer), and has a standard 9-pin "D"
connector. I'm not afraid of breaking a few pins on a cable to make
this work, but I don't want to risk blowing anything in either machine.
Thanks!
