Not so.... it depends on quality of the components in the ROM 01
motherboard and no two are the same. (For instance, I've been running a
Zip in my ROM 01 with the the original *long* cable, and never had a
failure because of "excessive noise".). I also know of a few people who
are running ROM 01s faster than 8MHz.
But that's beside the point. I've seen what the prototype TurboRez can do
on an 8Mhz system. If the Second Sight VGA card performs anywhere near
that, most people will not be dissapointed.
I know I won't.
