Regarding updating current applications, how about two-monitor
debugging support with Splat! ... even when programming text
applications this would be a big help.  Are you there Mike?

Now that we have the resolution, how about a proper window
manager?  Other than it being a lot of work, X (with a GSWidget
set) doesn't sound so impossible any more ...
