Laser 128 3.5" drives

A real estate agent in these parts who was running his whole office 
just a few years ago with AppleWorks running on a bunch of Laser 128s 
(!) and has since gone IBM because of the mountain of Real Estate 
software not available for the Apple, is selling off all his old 
gear. There are about 6 or 7 CPUs, a few monitors, and about 20 Laser 
3.5" drives.
 
My question is this: are the Laser drives interchangeable with Apple 
3.5" drives, and if so, what sort - the Apple 3.5" or the UniDisk 
3.5"?
 
There are a lot of people here waiting for the answer to this (well, 
at least 20  :-)  )
 
Can anyone out there help?
