   Apple has given in to mac cloning simply due to market pressure:
they know they're going to keep being a niche market unless they get
cheap clones out the door. The Apple II market is dead to anyone with
a marketing degree, and I don't think you'd find any companies willing
to spend the $ to license the technology.

   It would be nice, but we're die-hard fanatics with no sense of
reality :)
